Een van onze alumni, Laura Robustella, heeft een tentoonstellingsconcept mogen samenstellen tijdens haar master Arts and Culture, dat is verwezenlijkt in de tentoonstelling RCE + EST: when concrete, minimal and media art come together. Tijdens deze excursie zal zij ons begeleiden door de tentoonstelling en vertellen over haar ervaringen die ze op heeft gedaan in het proces.
RCE + EST: when concrete, minimal and media art come together is een tentoonstelling in samenwerking met de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed. Deze unieke samenwerking brengt twee collecties samen en stimuleert een dialoog tussen drie verschillende kunststromingen: concrete kunst, minimalisme en mediakunst. Binnen deze dialoog staat één thema centraal: ‘‘kunst omwille van de kunst.’’ Een tentoonstelling waarbinnen de kunstwerken over niets anders gaan, dan wat aan het publiek wordt gepresenteerd. Hoewel de kunstwerken uit verschillende kunststromingen zijn voortgekomen, delen ze allen een niet-referentiele boodschap.
One of our alumni, Laura Robustella, created a concept for an exhibition during her Master in Arts and Culture that has been realized in the exhibition RCE + EST: when concrete, minimal and media art come together. During this excursion, she will guide us through the exhibition and tell us about the experiences she gained in this process.
RCE + EST: when concrete, minimal and media art come together is an exhibition in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Agency. This unique collaboration brings together two collections and stimulates a dialogue between three different art movements: concrete art, minimalism and media art. One theme is central within this dialogue: “art for art’s sake.” An exhibition in which the art means nothing other than what is presented to the public. Although the works of art originate from different art movements, they all share a non-referential message.
