The LKV is organizing a gezellig borrel where you can chat with your lecturers (e.g. Professor Wouter Wagemakers and Professor Steven Lauritano) and peers outside of class. It's a perfect opportunity to reflect on what you've learned and get excited for the remainder of the semester. Members get their first drink on us, so don't miss out!

When: Wednesday April 19th, 20:00- 23:00.
Where: Galerie Cafe Leidse Lente (Haagweg 4, 2311 AA Leiden).

If you like discovering new places both within and

If you like discovering new places both within and outside The Netherlands and you like organising things then Head of Excursions and Travels might just be the position for you! As the Head of Excursions and Travels it is your job to discover cool and artistic places that you can take members to. Together with your excursions and travels committee you will decide on the destinations for both the excursions and the travels that will take place during the upcoming academic year and you will also reach out to your favourite professors that you want to come along on either an excursion or a trip.
As the Head of Excursions and Travels you will be leading your very own excursions and travels committee while also contributing to meetings with the board. You will seek contact with professors and you will oversee that the excursions and trips will run smoothly.
In the end, you are the one responsible for all the excursions and trips of de LKV. This means that you have to be flexible and responsible so you can solve any issues creatively. What you gain from the position is a way to develop your organising skills and the (very fun) experience to get together with professors and try to plan an excursion or a trip with activities that they are most passionate about. Naturally you also have a spot on any excursion and/or trip you want to go on ;).
