The long-waited L.K.V collaboration with LVSJ Tanuki is here! Join us for a special screening of the Japanese animated movie Belle (2021) accompanied by an insightful talk given by Professor Michael Crandol from Modern Japan studies. Hello everyone!
We would like to invite you to spend the month of March with us!
We will kickstart with our monthly borrel, and go to not one but two excursions! With that, we have looked to the future and planned an amazing career talk for you. And finally, we will close the month with a movie night in collaboration with @lvsj_tanuki!

This week the LKV went on it’s first trip of 202

This week the LKV went on it’s first trip of 2023 to Barcelona accompanied by Dr. Helen Westgeest🇪🇸☀️😍! We had an amazing 5 days with a lot of sun and of course a lot of art. From an walking tour through the historic old part of the city to the modern and contemporary art works and installations at the MACBA. From the small art museums of Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró and Antoni Tàpies, to all the buildings (and park Guëll) of Antoni Gaudí. And of course we also visited the Mies van der Rohe pavilion and the MNAC. To conclude, we have seen and learned a lot. It was once again a succesful trip with the LKV! Here you see a little recap of the trip. Thanks to all that came along 🥰✨

Experience a spiritual journey through the new exh

Experience a spiritual journey through the new exhibition Spiritual Urgency in the Stedelijk Museum of Schiedam. Through 4 different themes, Spiritual Urgency shows why spirituality is indispensable for many young artists, a number of whom can be seen in the exhibition. The current young artists are shown next to great artists such as Wassily Kadinsky and Charley Toorop, in this way it becomes clear that artists have always fulfilled the role of spiritual guides.
Friday 17 February we will visit the exhibition together with Stéphanie Noach. Professor Carlos Garrido Castellano from the University of Cork will be joining us as well. Together we will visit the exhibition and discuss and talk about what we see and experience. Sign up via the link to join the excursion.
